The Smart World Center offers its services to clients in a variety of sectors, including high technology, agriculture, economic development agencies, government and education.

In 2015, Dr. Robert Cooper, CEO of Cooper Strategic, engaged the Smart World Center services for a cutting-edge research project: “How Leaders Learn and Create Breakthroughs.” (http://www.cooperstrategic.com).
In the Fall of 2014, eBay/PayPal engaged the Smart World Center services for several internal strategy sessions focused on long-term planning with their team of software architects.
From 2011-2012, the Smart World Center coordinated a series of Think Tank Sessions for Project 17 International’s Agricultural Technology Cluster. In collaboration with the Grower-Shipper Association and Hartnell College, the Center designed and facilitated a series of sessions drawing participation from leaders among the large agricultural companies in the Monterey Bay/Salinas region (including Dole, Taylor Farms, Chiquita, among others).
